Scarzello - Barolo del Comune di Barolo

Scarzello - Barolo del Comune di Barolo

Vintage
Format

From a small vineyard in Terlo and several plots in Sarmassa. It is a Barolo of equilibrium, the result of blending different plots. It is a traditional Barolo, with long macerations, delicate extractions, aged in wooden barrels for at least 18-24 months, followed by a long period in bottle. Thanks to its delicate tannins, the Barolo del Comune di Barolo has a more immediate approach then the single vineyard. It’s ideal for a shorter ageing than Sarmassa Vigna Merenda, but it always confirms the traditional expression of the winery’s style.
