Nativ - Segreti

Nativ - Segreti

Vintage
Format

Segreti (Secrets)… made from pure Aglianico Nero grapes, from the volcanic soils of the Valle del Ceraso and Fontana Marena districts, in the Paternopoli countryside, from an unusual November harvest. It macerates and ferments with its own yeasts, then ages in seasoned oak for a year and a half, followed by six months in the bottle… a generous wine, revealing its most authentic sensory qualities.

"For me, impenetrable, robust, rich, just a touch acidic and bitter. It can be sharp but at times velvety, with "character," as Aglianico usually is. Years, decades, and... then you understand in a single instant, with profound awareness and ancestral instinct, that that dense, dark, bluish-red fluid, with its intoxicating bouquet born from the harmonious movement in the vat and then from a slow evolution in the barrels, is... your wine."
