Blu Onice takes its name from the vineyard of the same name, located on rocky terrain near an ancient onyx quarry near Gesualdo. The stones extracted from this quarry, in addition to being yellow in color, also feature distinctive blue streaks, giving this wine its name.

From vineyard to bottle

Harvest

Harvested in October crossing into November. The hand-picked grapes, transported in crates, are pressed and macerated for approximately three weeks in steel silos. After fermentation, the resulting wine, separated from the skins, is aged in new French oak barrels
