Bicento – Aglianico dei Campi Taurasini DOC: A fine red wine made from vineyards grown on volcanic soil on the hills of Taurasi. This wine's name derives from the longevity of the vines from which it is made, which are 200 years old. Bicento literally means "twice a hundred."

Winemaking

From vineyard to bottle

Harvest

Harvested in October. The grapes are hand-picked and delivered to the winery in small 20 kg crates. They are lightly pressed. After fermentation, the wine is separated from the grape skins and aged in 2.25 hl French oak barriques for 12 months
