The story

Vineyard Montefico - This vineyard, located east of the village of Barbaresco and superbly exposed to the south-east, is planted entirely with Nebbiolo. The altitude is about 250 m above sea level and the vines have an average age of over 50 years. Calcareous-clay soil, with a good presence of marl, conveys freshness and a mineral element to the Barbaresco Montefico, with floral notes and hints of liquorice. A characteristic mentholated scent emerges, due to the substantial presence of wild mint in this parcel of land.

Winemaking

From vineyard to bottle
