Age of Majority
By continuing, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence.
You affirm that:
- You are at least 21 years of age.
- The person receiving any shipment containing alcoholic beverages is at least 21 years of age.
- Any alcoholic beverages purchased from us are for personal consumption and not for resale.
- You will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws relating to the purchase, transportation, possession, and use of alcoholic beverages.
We do not sell alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. We do not sell alcoholic beverages outside the United States, or anywhere that such sale, shipment, delivery, or receipt is prohibited by law.
An adult signature is required for delivery of alcoholic beverages. The recipient must be at least 21 years of age and may be required to present valid government-issued identification to verify age and identity. Delivery drivers will not deliver alcoholic beverages to persons who are visibly intoxicated.
If you intentionally or unintentionally misrepresent your age, the recipient’s age, or any other information in order to obtain alcoholic beverages illegally or provide alcoholic beverages to a person under 21, we reserve the right to cancel your order, restrict or terminate your access to our website, and cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
We recommend shipping to a commercial business address whenever possible to improve the likelihood that an eligible adult will be available to sign for delivery.
Shipping and Delivery
Once products are transferred to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to you, subject to applicable law and our Terms and Conditions.
Vitis 45 Select Imports reserves the right to delay shipment to protect product quality, including during periods of extreme heat, extreme cold, or other weather conditions that may damage wine.
Candellations, Returns, Refunds, and Bad Bottles
Cancellations, returns, refunds, broken bottles, undeliverable packages, weather-related damage, and bad bottles are governed by our Shipping and Returns Policy.
We charge a 15% cancellation fee for cancelled orders. Cancelled orders are orders that have been placed but have not yet shipped or been delivered.
We do not accept returns of wine distressed due to shipping, weather, heat, cold, rain, snow, or other transit conditions outside our control.
Corked or otherwise innately flawed bottles are an occasional possibility with wine. We are unable to guarantee wines that have been out of our possession for longer than 7 days. All bad bottles must be returned to Vitis 45 Select Imports for inspection before a refund or credit may be issued.
Wine must be inspected by the Buyer or recipient upon receipt.
If you receive broken merchandise, you must notify Vitis 45 Select Imports within 24 hours of delivery. A photo of the broken bottle, damaged packaging, and shipping label must accompany your notification.
